Chrome for Android

did you get same problem as me where both the desktop and the mobile browser gave a sync code so there was nowhere to enter it??

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or stupid) guess ;)

No i could put the code in, and it would say its synced. It just wasn't. Like my desktop bookmarks weren't there.

I use Chrome on everything (desktop, Android phone, iPad 2). Having all the open tabs and bookmarks sync across devices works for me, and it's my go-to browser on the PC. That and Chrome-to-Phone make it hard to abandon it (yes, I know there is a Fox-To-Phone.add-on for Firefox).

Me and you both. It's awesome

I don't have any speed issues with Chrome. It doesn't feel any slower that the stock browser. Getting new tabs going and moving through them is faster in Chrome because of the screen swipe gestures. My problem with Chrome is sometimes it will not load a site in desktop mode or it will be finicky about it. The 720p screen really doesn't require mobile websites as default -- it should be the other way around -- desktop by default and "request mobile site" as the option. Also, text input in forum comment boxes like this one are incredibly buggy with Swift Key + Chrome. So I end up switching between the stock browser and chrome depending on what I'm doing. In fact, and I hate to say it, Androidcentral.com forums run like ass on chrome. And I know i'm repeating myself all over the place, but I must once again remind folks to run an adblocker if they are rooted because it speeds up webpage loads dramatically when all those adverts get filtered out.

Just took Maxthon browser for a ride, does seem to be faster than Chrome at least on my phone. But the stock browser is faster than Chrome on my phone. Still like Firefox on laptop and pc for torrent downloads, and Chrome for just surfing, thanks bro
