Chrome tabs in pop up mode

When loading Chrome browser as a pop up window on the Note Pro 12.2, I notice the browser tabs are partially tucked beneath the address bar. Is anyone else observing the same behavior? Is there a known workaround? (Not sure ultimately if it's a Google or Samsung issue - my guess is pop up mode really isn't supported on many devices, so Google may not be so inclined to correct the issue).

Noticing this too but I'm not sure if it always existed. Could have crept up in a recent update.

Edit: just rolled back a couple of versions and it was still there (titanium backup).
