I switched from an S7 and had no issues with this but now on my Pixel 2 chrome always shows a list of downloads and previous site history on the home page. I've gone thru all the options but I can't get it to open to just the blank default Google page.anyideas?

it's the default setup of the updated app.

What you are seeing is the default. To change it set a home page.
