Chromecast + iPhone/ Apple devices in general

Big Chromecast supporter here. I'm currently using an IPhone, Netflix and YouTube work flawlessly, though I can't seem to be able to stream web embebed videos to the TV. I could do that in the past using a 2012 iPad mini, not anymore. It doesn't have the streaming icon now. Is there any workaround to stream videos like that?, I can't mirror the phone screen for obvious reasons (iOS). I notice there are HBO and Fox Play apps with chromecast compatibility in the US, not here in Latin America, where we do get those apps but without that extra functionality. So that pretty much sucks too.
