How do you browse for your NTFS drive in VLC?

You can't browse the files using VLC, you have to use JS USB OTG and use the 'Open with VLC' option. There may be other methods now, but this has worked for me so I never bothered to look into it any further.

GREAT "Bla1ze"! ! ! Thank you very much for your effort and suggestion. I will try to find out if there is a way to order this item in North East Thailand from various distributors. I will place an update about my experiences.

Dear all,
After doing some research, I've noticed that unfortunately the suggested USB hub is limited available in Thailand and very expensive around 100 to 120 $. Amazon has no option C O D (cash on delivery as I do not have creditcards), but there are some USB hubs from Aukey available and much cheaper too, around 60 to 70 $ including shipping and taxes. I won't give up and keep looking out for a working USB hub. Thanks again......

Its always like this, in most of the forums it will end up without a clear answer. SO NOW WHAT? ? ? How about the USB hub (which brand), power adapter 20, 40, 60, or 90 Watt (which brand)? ? ? Probably best idea will be to use the "Google Chromecast with Google tv" like it is, and buy an NVidia Pro (2019 model) which will work with anything you connect to it.
Good luck to all, Mr. Dutchie.

True story :( I got excited about what the newer Chromecast with Google TV could do with apps and external storage (compared to my older Chromecast) and went and bought it because of the low price. A pricey USB-C hub with power delivery, USB-C to C cable and a 60w power plug later and I'm stuck with having spent more money than what the Shield would have cost me, not to mention the unsightly interconnected cables spewing out of my TV. Now I'd probably have to fork out more to extend the Chromecast's HDMI and USB cables so I can hide all the cables, HDD and hub out of sight .
