I have a Classic right now, and like how 'professional' it looks, but I've been eyeing possibly exchanging it for a Frontier because of the more 'rugged' design. Functionally and size wise they're identical, but I'm not sure which to go with. I'm anticipating using the S3 for working out, and part of me is concerned how well that shiny stainless will hold up on the classic.

I had a classic s2 and got the frontier S3 and absolutely love it

Does the frontier with a leather band look 'normal'? One of my concerns is being stuck with only the silicone bands

I like the leather bands .. I have both a black and dark brown.. looks about as normal as it can considering it's a large lit up screen. My son tells meet it looks better with the silicone band 'because that's the kind of watch it is' buy I like the leather.. I bought the expensive band and like them alot https://www.slgdesign.com/collections/gear-s3-classic

I just picked up the Frontier and I will definitely get a leather band for it for work. I know the Frontier is more rugged than the Classic, but I think it looks sharp with a leather band in the photos that I've seen. Yes the Classic is more professional, but I see professionals wear bigger, more rugged looking watches.

I have owned both S3 Classic and Frontier, and prefer classic because it can be more formal looking than frontier depending on band choice yet works equally well with silicone bands for working out.

I think mine looks just great with the leather band I'll have to take a picture of it and share here when I get time

Personally I prefer the look of the Classic, but I have the Frontier because I wanted it on the launch date, and T-Mobile was only offering the Frontier LTE version (and I wanted LTE connectivity, which is why I didn't just pick it up at Macy's or something). Whenever I walk into a T-Mobile store and see the Classic LTE, I admit I'm slightly envious. However, given the 22 mm watch band compatibility, it's not that big of a deal. I have a leather strap, and it looks just fine in an office environment.
