Clockwork Issue (Again!)

Could someone enlighten me as to why the hell Clockwork cannot install any ROM at all? (CleanROM GBE 1.6.5 specifically)
I always get a "(bad)" error message whenever I try to install a ROM. Also "cannot find update" pops up.
The steps I've followed:
1.) Placed ROM in sdcard
2.) Rebooted into Recovery
3.) Wiped data/factory reset
4.) Tried to install

I feel like I'm missing something basic and will feel like an idiot in a few hours.

Edit: My frustration has eased somewhat, because the backup I made on ROM Manager actually worked.

No clue brother but jump back on the Amon-Ra bus until Koush gets CWM on the Rezound figured all out.

I went against the grain with CWM because I'm a loyalist with it for some reason. But this is a lost cause and I'll follow your advice. Thanks.

Update:
Amon Ra installation was driving me crazy. Not even CleanFlash could help me out.
I went back to the ROM I placed on the SD card and noticed that Astro (which I used to move it from my downloads folder) had apparently placed a 370-something megabyte file that was COMPLETELY EMPTY (wtf?)
I re-downloaded, placed on SD, rebooted to recovery, and used CWM to install the ROM. No issues were had, and I'm now running CleanROM GBE with absolutely no OTA annoyance (so far.)

Good deal brother. I haven't found a good reason to switch to CWM yet. I've been using AmonRa 3.10 since day 1

It's gotten more stable, I can tell you that.
The only trick to it was creating a .hidenandroidprogress file within the backups folder in order to create a backup. Aside from that, I'm pretty pleased.

I think it's great. Super easy and convenient. The only thing to watch out for is not to initiate backups from the app, other than that glitch CWD has made my phone easier to manage. I couldn't even get Amon-Ra going.

You probably came from an OG Droid or DX like I did and CWM was just the norm...from what I see AmonRa has a pretty large HTC base. I'll eventually chuck CWM on here just so my paid ROM manager license doesn't start to feel neglected. One of these years I'm just going to fastboot flash the whole dang thing and skip recovery altogether.

Funny you mention that issue. I factory reset yesterday while I was at work trying to install a ROM. I had an issue with the ROM (in the other thread. Damn Astro!) and decided I wasn't in the mood to attempt it at work anymore, so I went to restore my backup. I initiated it from the ROM Manager, figuring I didn't really have much to lose anyway. The restore worked perfectly, so I was pretty pleased.

I had a lot of trouble with Astro as well. I've moved to X-Plore with my rooted. Couldn't be happier.
