Clockwork Recovery update

hey i updated Clockwork on rom manager and it screwed everything up .. i get the fuzzy lines and get stuck in boot screen .. i installed the stock backup i had but my root apps are not working right CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE. IT also wont let me install any any custom roms :(

I uninstalled rom manager and reinstalled rom manager and now from rom manager I can initiate a back up or a restore. Before this I was getting a bott loader loop. Also if I initiated a "reboot into recovery" from rom manager it would get to recovery, but on the way there I would see an awful screen of color looking like an original Nintendo game that froze up.

i get that awful screen of color too and that is a great way to describe it (original nintendo game freezing). funny thing is that i thought it was designed that way, kind of like how turning off gingerbread has an animation like an old television set being turned off. i thought it was some kind of new retro movement by android.

mine is orange, not green.
and everytime i try to flash something (even if it's something simple like a launcher dock), it gets aborted. i have to change to ra recovery.
(i'm using rom manager 3.0.0.1 and clockworkmod 3.0.0.2 if it matters.)

I think I am hosed with Clockword Recovery 3.0.0.2. No ROMs or Kernels are flashing, they just abort. And I am stuck at the main screen of the CM6.1.2 ROM and touching the Android doesn't work. Need help in a bad way here...

I just had the same thing happen. Pull battery, put into hboot and wipe cache/factory reset and reboot. worked for me. Runing 6.1.2 ROm now. Pretty cool my first new Rom after rooting. Trying to figure out some bugs like reloading apps. They are not showing up when I restore them from TITIUM for some ?

While in ROM Manager scroll down to All clockworkMod recoveries then click your selection and hit ok. It will update to the update of your choice. ;)

I already checked there and thank you for helping. these are my options 2.5.1.4, 2.5.1.3, 2.5.1.1, 2.5.1.0

I have also uninstalled rom manager and all its updates. reinstalled rom manager and purchased the pro version. None of that has made a difference.

any help would be appreciated.

Sorry! I should have caught that when you mentioned it shows 2510. Anyhow, Do you happen to have a previous backup you could restore that may have had the rom manager with the current settings? If all else fails you can manually load roms without the rom manager. I know that is not the answer you want after you paid for it. Hopefully someone with a little more know how will be able to chime in and give some more suggestions. Good Luck!

youre not missing out on anything with clockwork 3.0+, its still kinda sketchy depending on your hboot. Sit tight and when its stable youll know.

If you REALLY want it, search at XDA the actual file is floating around somewhere.

This last few updates have been a disaster. If I were you guys I'd downgrade to the older version or even use RA

For right now this is great advice. Koush released a 2.6 version that's the same as 2.5 but with wimax backup.

whatever anyone does, I suggest you use RA at least once to backup your wimax keys.
