Close up photography and blurry photos

Can anyone help on setting the camera to take close up photos with high quality? I'm trying to take pictures of jewelry components and they aren't coming out very well. It was a snap on my S4, but having trouble with the S6.

If you tap on the object on screen before you shoot, it should focus on it
