I think Slacker is awesome cause I love being able to listen to all those songs. It helps me discover new music!! I would love to have a subscription!

Slacker streaming when you have a good connection via wifi or on your provider network. If not cache your favorite stations for camping, hiking or chilling in you favorite out of the way place or at work if they block slacker on the work place network!

What could be better than caching some great pre-defined stations for the commute! Great exposure to some new tunes!

The selection of music is excellent, as is the variety. I listen to Slacker more than FM or XM.

Slacker is a great value for the price. I subscribe to Sirius and find myself mostly listening to the music and not the other content. With Slacker radio a quarter the price I am planning on letting my sirius subscription expire and picking up Slacker.

I love creating my own custom stations. It is so much better than Pandora, in my opinion. I get much more control over what I hear on my stations.

Slacker Radio is SO BAD ASS because:

1. Their sound quality is way better than Pandora.
2. I love their selection of Punk Rock and Techno/Trance
3. The UI is clean and easy to use in the car
4. RAD NAME
5. It keeps me happily away from the radio which is 75% commercials and 25% music these days. MEH.

Slacker is my music savior!

Pick me! :)

I loves me some Slacker.

A long-time user of Pandora, I decided to try something else, and honestly, the way the genre-based stations are set up are so much nicer and helpful... and I've come across some better music selections via Slacker than I have with Pandora. Not sure if it's the licenseing, or just who it is doing the music selections, but Slacker's ended up being more eclectic, and as a result, varied and eye-opening. It's good stuff, highly recommended whenever I can.

Yeah, I would dig a full membership.

Love Slacker Radio!! The reason is simple : Its so easy to navigate and find my favorite music. Love IttTTt1!!!111!!!

I have tried them all!

I have tried Slacker, Pandora, last.fm and Jango. Slacker is the best of all because it feels more like an fm radio and it plays more relevant songs. sometimes I used to get frustrated of Pandora because it would play something totally irrelevant. And, I also liked the idea of caching of Slacker radio. I also like the live RJ feature.

Slacker is way better that Pandora. They have more of the music I prefer, it sounds better, and has less marketing! It's the best choice.
