CM10 Jelly Bean Alpha

RAM usage is higher because of Project Butter. In short, it is using more RAM for buffering to make sure that the launcher and UI runs at 60 fps. I have found that some of the newer builds have a smoother UI than ICS. Some of the new animations are pretty slick too.

And I love the new notification bar. Its the number one reason I can't see going back to ICS despite a few bugs with CM10.

I would suggest that you guys follow this link if you want to try it out. It has much more information on the proper way to flash this rom. [ROM][OFFICIAL][CyanogenMod 10][TeamChopsticks][Alpha 3 - 8/17] - xda-developers

I haven't rooted my skyrocket yet, but I am definitely interested in doing it and trying out Jelly Bean. But I'm not sure the way to even start. I'll google it and figure it out so nobody has to take time to walk a n00b like me through it.

I was reading around on some of the links posted and I noticed that there was no download link for the AT&T Radio.....Wouldn't that be a problem? lol

Have you done the ICS update already? If so, you have UCLF6 which is the most recent radio update. You don't really need to flash a new radio when running a different ROM in my experience but some people do if they have reception issues.

Yeah, I have the stock AT&T ICS release

Hmmmm....I think I ran into a problem....my phone is stuck on the cyanogen 9 screen with the Android's chest flashing like Iron Man (just trying to explain lol)

PLEASE HELP!

I rooted using Odin and installing Clockwork on this link
[MOD] ROOT | CWM | ODIN | SGH-I727 and SGH-I727R Skyrocket - xda-developers

backed up and then clicked install zip from sdcard, clicked on roger_n's release of jellybean and I'm stuck on the screen.

I can reboot it into recovery mode, should I just restore from the backup I did or what?
