33 is working out great for me so far. Really have been very happy with my Epic since the CM7 Kangs were out.

Nightlies:_34 + 35 + 36 + 38 + 39 + 40 + 41 + 42 + 43 + 44 + 45 posted.........looks like interesting + important features being added for CM7 on a timely basis............having to nandroid back and forth --'tween 7 + 9-- to stay in touch with CyanogenMod 7's development.................. appears to be continuing to provide awesome features for the EPIC, nothing less than commendable, imo!

Need to flash 12* so that I can go from cm7 to cm9. Which nightly should I go with?

You might as well Flash the most recent (check the OP for links to Epic CM7 mirror-download site as well as for pertinent information + updates)........lots has happened since N12; however, you will need to wipe x 3 (cache, dalvik, factory reset wipe) from recovery prior to flashing CM9 (despite flashing CM7).

Just moved from nightly 29 to 45 (2/16/2012) and only thing I'm noticing is I can no longer dial a pbx extension when needed. I did odin back to stock, then ran through the process to reinstall CM7 from the ground up. I know I always get a clean install this way, even if it is overkill at this point.

May have more feedback later after I've had time to run around for a day or two.

ODIN is a great resource, + lifesaver........nothing like a clean install for ultimate functionality. :) Ever since jumping to CM9, have been using nandroids back + forth between CM7 + CM9, creating new nandroids as I install new updates or newer apps..........but, keep ODIN handy just in case.

*edit: very important to keep CM7 separate from CM9; however, no problem restoring back to either via a CM7 or a CM9 Nandroid using CWM Recovery v5.5.0.4 (this is the one that automatically converts from CWMv5.0.2.7 when you switch from BML to MTD).
