CM7 off of sd card?

Is there any way to currently run CM7 gingerbread nightly build off of a sd card?
All of the topics involving running off the card are either for honeycomb or eclair..

you could do it, but you need to compile cm7 from source and follow some instruction. I was in the process of doing it, when my laptop die.
