Come on, what's with the camera bump??

If the cameras end up being called the best cameras available on the phone, then it will make up for the bump. If the cameras end up worse, then...

That supposed to make it ok? No Sir. Besides, I go without case at home and office. So if this bump is real, it sucks.

I want my phone to be the Android equivalent or better of iPhone in terms of feature/new tech. If not it's hard to justify the same or higher price than iPhone.
That's like saying I want my Camaro to be the equivalent of a mustang or better. Here we go again!

No, sorry. Aesthetics IS a big deal in my book & I'm not interested in camera.

Every phone has their own characteristics, but there will be some common technology that we know all will go towards, like FPS last time, dual cam, minimal bezel screen etc. Latest will be on screen FPS. Samsung is already slow in dual cam, and now they will be slower in the on screen FPS.

If the price of Note 8 is similar as S8+, I have nothing to complain. But if it is going to be USD100-150 more than S8+ as rurmoured, it will be hard to stomach with nothing new to show from them.

"Sounds like you don't even need/want a new phone anyway."

Don't "need" do "want" but only if a note. I was spoiled all to briefly by note 7 & s-pen. Camera I'm not fussed, they're plenty good enough already. I have a digital camera also for if I want to get serious. My opinion - I know others really get hyped up about phone cameras.

Then just don't buy it. Easy.

I'm not saying to use a case or that it makes it okay. Just stating that if you are a case user (like me) , you won't notice the bump. That's all.

No worries. I only use cases when I'm out. These phones are getting way to expensive to not protect them when ever possible though.

Honestly, when was the last time anyone stared at the back of their phone and admired the looks? I'm usually looking at the front of it. If the image quality is better, I can live with a little hump.
You don't think Samsung is doing everything they can to stay hump-free? If there's a hump, I'm sure there's a really good reason for it to be there...I hope.

OK for camels!

The latest render makes it look more like a "recess" than a "bump" - the one from the Case Advertisement! ???
