Would you recommend the Nokia 9 to me IV got a p20 pro but charging port is nackerd and just want a good phone for pics was looking at this or lg g8 as both pretty cheap right now but the g8 seems a little harder to come by here

The cameras seem pretty much the same, so unless getting updates for almost another year are important to you, why not just get the charging port replaced? That's got to be less than €550. (And be more careful with it - a type C connector is pretty difficult to damage.)

How much did you use the telephoto and wide angle cameras on the P20 Pro?

Mobile World Congress is around the corner, I'd wait for that if possible. Even if you're not on the market for a new device, the announcements could lead to price reductions on existing phones.

Not on the Nokia 9. It only has regular color and monochrome cameras.

I think the only Nokia device that has a wide angle camera is the Nokia 7.2 but it's a midrange device.
