These are a couple of things I haven't been able to find answers online.

1. Is it possible to use the volume buttons to take a picture in the stock camera app?
2. The beats logo is stuck in the status bar when i'm not listening to anything, is there a way to turn it off from showing up?
3. Is it possible to have the battery percentage listed next to the battery?

Sorry if the answers are already on the forum, I did a search and looked thru a couple of pages.

1. Not sure
2. That's weird because I only saw the beats logo when there was an app that used any sound. H,,,,,
3. Not without downloading an app. You can download several battery notifcation apps or other apps that include it such as GSM Battery Monitor, battery indicator or power toggles. Keep in mind that it will put the percentage number on the other side of the bar and not near the existing battery.

2. Make sure the music player is turned off. Pull down the status bar and if the music player is open, you'll see the track and some controls in there. Click the X and it will close.
3. Yes... but you have to flash a custom ROM. I am using Trickdroid... very stable and gives me a percentage number. You could also install Power Toggles and that will give you a number on the left side but I didn't like it over there.

One of the best things about Android coming from iOS myself is that you can try out paid apps and if you uninstall in 15min, you'll be automatically refunded.

Windows phone has the best policy here. Try for time you want. If you like it buy, if not keep using demo...

Am I the only person to use juice plotter? I find the estimated time remaining to be vastly more useful than battery percentage.
