If it's a relatively recent Android phone, it should work fine. But without a model, I can't say for sure.

OP mentioned it's an Alcatel 1S: https://www.gsmarena.com/alcatel_1s_(2020)-10017.php. (I tried linking the official page from Alcatel, but that page seems to be glitchy or down -- not very reassuring in terms of quality or support.:-\)

That phone should work fine.
