Confessions of an Android Newbie

Hello Everyone!

I am new to Android Central and to Android itself. I'm so new in fact that I do not have an Android device yet. I have been in perpetual waiting for the next big thing mode. Since the next big thing is always about a month away I am now using a 4 year old non smartphone device that is on it's last legs. I considered that other OS (think fruit tree) but I think I would prefer the flexibility of Android.

I'm currently considering the Droid Charge but I'm also intrigued by the Bionic's possibilities. There I go waiting again. In the meantime I'm looking to learn as much as possible until I get whatever device so I'll have at least some clue of how to use it.

Nice to know that I'm not the only new person. I've never really checked out Android Central before and I only recently got my new Android phone. Came over from a Blackberry, which is way different. So far having fun, Good Luck!

I also joined before getting my phone. It's nice to join up and learn before you get a phone in my opinion. Everybody here is so helpful as well.
