That's only for Oxygen Saturation, Heart Rate and stress. Not Blood Pressure. In Samsung health. You measure it buy putting your finger over the back sensor.

It's the first thing on the back of the phone in the row with the camera lens. It looks like a vertical rectangle.I'll have to Google to find out where that sensor is exactly
He asked about pulse rate though. It takes that. That's only for Oxygen Saturation, Heart Rate and stress. Not Blood Pressure.
Sorry I misunderstood. I thought they were looking for Blood Pressure since that's what the OP was talking about. He asked about pulse rate though. It takes that.
So how DO they measure blood pressure? That's only for Oxygen Saturation, Heart Rate and stress. Not Blood Pressure.
That BP app the OP mentioned does use the Sensor at the back. Not sure why the Samsung Health app doesn't use it for BP.So how DO they measure blood pressure?
I know what it doesn't useThat BP app the OP mentioned does use the Sensor at the back. Not sure why the Samsung Health app doesn't use it for BP.
Lol agree. I don't know either. I wanted to try the app out to see how accurate it is but I didn't want to sign up for the study so I uninstalled the app.I know what it doesn't use
I cannot understand how it can measure blood pressure without any accessories?
Maybe someone else here.can solve the mystery?Lol agree. I don't know either. I wanted to try the app out to see how accurate it is but I didn't want to sign up for the study so I uninstalled the app.
How does Note 9 measure bp?My local T-Mobile store had a working model of the Note 9, and were nice enough to let me play with it for a few minutes. I was able to install and confirm that the My BP Lab app works on the Note 9.
For those who do not know, with the release of the the Galaxy S9; the built in heart monitor now also has the ability to measure blood pressure. Currently there is only one app that I know of that works with that feature
"My BP Lab" and to use it you have to agree to take part in a University study on daily stress.
I have been using it on the S9 Plus since launch (one of the reasons I switched from the Note 8) and wanted to confirm it working as I move back to the Note family.
