Confirmed, we have the worst still camera...

My buddy was showing off his Iphone 4s to me and the camera kills my EVO 3D cam. But hey that's technology for ya. I'm sure there will be a phone out in a few months or whenever that will kill the Iphone cam. I havent seen a absolutely horrible phone cam since 2007. Today some are better than others but not by that much. To me the EVO 3D takes some of the best outdoor natural light shots I have ever seen.

I agree that the iPhone does have a great camera. The iPhone does a lot of things well. I also believe that the EVO 3D has a very good camera, although admittedly the default settings leave a lot to be desired. If one is willing to invest the time, though, one can get excellent results with it. I have posted quite a few pictures in both this thread and the sticky of great shots I have taken in different conditions, including action shots.

Edit: The red eyes are not a result of the camera. He is an albino and his eyes reflect red in certain light. As a result of camera flash his eyes actually turn a yellowish orange color.

the best solution i found was to get the htc amaze 4g .apk it worked so good that a i feel is a new camera. quality is wonderful and shutter speed is fast, finally i can take pictures of my daughter with this app.

some of the feature dont work like the panoramic and other but on auto worked magic.
now im really happy with my evo 3d. by the way dont spend your money on that crap of app like vignette, i did not help at all.

I am using the HTC amaze camera to it is 100 times better! I am amazed and disappoint that htc could easily fix an obvious flaw and wouldn't take the time to fix it!! I was actually contemplating getting rid of this phone because of the camera.....

HTC releases a ridiculous amount of phones every quarter and that's the problem. Too much, too quick. Lack of focus. Such a simple solution yet not even an acknowledgement of a problem. Nexus baby, next time...

Idk, I believe HTC has better cs and provides just as many if not more updates than any other manufacturer. They have had four already. Unless it were a Nexus I would steer clear of Samsung, and having said that there are issues with the Nexus as well. I visit both the EVO 3D and NS4G forums because I have both and I can assure you it isn't perfect by any means. I like both devices for different reasons but if I had to choose only one it would be the EVO 3D.
