I guess at this point we might as well just wait until the 18th when the US event takes place.

I was hoping when they said that they would be shipping it out before the end of April that that would be the case.

I think Asus is merely fine tuning/polishing up these devices for consumer use. Last thing they would want is a device that doesn't work as well as they intend to. Patience is a virtue as they say!

While I am disappointed it has taken a bit longer than expected, I am glad ASUS is tweaking their version of 5.x to insure a good experience. Looking forward to getting mine.

These things happen, especially since Asus is still getting their feet wet in the competitive smartphone market. I'm really happy you all finally received the official ETA for claiming your Zenfone 2's.

I for can say based on the average feedback on the device as a whole, it'll be worth it. Just keep your expectations realistic, as it's not supposed to destroy this year's top flagships out of the box.

Oh, I know! As long as it can handle my (moderate) day to day usage, it'll be good for me.

Then I assure you will not be disappointed in the end, once you can tame the bloatware (which you can thankfully disable). Also report your actual issues to the official Zentalk so that they'll know what to address in future firmware updates (which they've been very actively doing every 2 weeks, including a new one today).

someone's claimed that he has a review unit on xda with links to the US version being sold on new egg if he Is legit then we where never meant to review the phone but have the commercial version first. Seems strange they weren't shipped by today. People at the event already got them so it's not like they weren't available. And the general public will start buying tomorrow. Kind of wondering if we're still getting them in light of this. Oh well. Maybe we will.
