Congratulations with your new phone?

Today, I got an email from Verizon congratulating me with my "new phone", which, in fact, exactly happens to be the phone I've been using for the last two years. I've purchased two new phones in the last week, but one of them has yet to be received, and, another, received but not yet activated.

You're right. But they congratulated me with the "new", two years old, phone, presently on our plan.

I called Verizon, and turns out they'd already done upgrade transfers between the lines before either of the new phone have been activated. Now I'm a bit concerned that, since, acc. to Verizon, the upgrade from my line is gone, it may present a problem in moving the phone from my wife's dumb line to mine.
