Ok, I am beyond frustrated right now with this thing. Bought the Moto 360 2nd gen. Install and update Android Wear. Everything is up to date. Watch will only stay connected when directly next to phone. Phone is the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Move three feet away, device disconnects. I have reset the watch and reset the phone. Uninstalled Android Wear and even installed an older APK and let the watch find the update. Issue continues.

Here's the crazy part. Check the Bluetooth on the 360, and the watch picks up every Bluetooth connection within thirty feet from me, including my phone. Check Bluetooth on my phone, and it will not find the watch. Tried another S6, can't find the watch. Tried an iPhone, can't find the watch. The watch finds every device but phones can not find it. I returned the watch for another one. Same exact issue. Device connects on initial start up. Walking away three feet, device disconnects.

This is crazy! I paid $400 for this thing. Phone is running 5.1.1, as is the watch.

I don't know what else to do!

I know all of this. I have reset the watch over ten times now. I just reflashed the firmware on my S6 Edge plus, reset the watch, downloaded and paired with Android wear. Walk five feet away, device disconnects. Have to be right next to the watch for it to work

And as I said, I've tried it with another phone with the same issue.

Also, when searching for the watch on Bluetooth on the phone, you can't find it. You search for the phone on the watch and the watch finds all other devices but won't find the phone.

A buddy of mine searched for the watch on his Bluetooth on his iPhone, couldn't find it. Checked the watch and the watch found the iPhone but not the other way around

Um, you are aware that you do not pair the watch using the phone's Bluetooth app, right?

On the phone, you have to use the Android Wear app to find your watch and pair it.

Yes I am aware of that.

Here's an update:

When searching Bluetooth devices on the watch, all tablets with Bluetooth on will be found but no phones. Downloaded android wear on the tablet, Samsung tablet, connected watch to it. Watch works flawlessly. Can walk 50 feet from the tablet and it stays connected without issue.

So the tablet works with the watch perfectly but no phone works

All phones were 5.1.1

Tablet is 5.0.2

It's the update. Watch does not work properly on any device with 5.1.1.

Started up an old Galaxy S4 that has 5.0.1, watch works flawlessly on it also. Every device with 5.1.1 does not work or it disconnects 3 feet away

OK I'm completely lost now.

Thought it was the update. Connected it to the S4 I posted about using Android Wear and device disconnects immediately when walking away. S4 is on 5.0.1.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Only the tablet works with it and stays connected without any problems.

Do other Bluetooth devices work normally with your phone? It could be the phone's Bluetooth signal is weak, bad antenna, etc...

All other Bluetooth works perfectly. Car and all media devices work without any problems.

Remember, I tried it with all the other phones with same problem. No phone works. Only the tablet. Even a phone not with 5.1.1

I have the exact same problem with my s6 edge. No matter what I do it will not talk to my No.1 D5 watch. Yet other phones do
