I'm looking for is much the back and I can probably get. I do not want to rush into something and regret it what is y I am testing a line of service with an l_g optimus this month and it was on sale

Could you clarify the question you are asking? Sounds like you want pros and cons of mvno or prepaid operators? There are decent amount of providers to choose from. Keep in mind that most have atrangements with the larger carriers to use their networks, so you are more likely to have coverage rather than not. However, depending on the agreements, you might not see the data speeds normally offered to the service provider making available the network.

Sorry I just noticed the mistake. I wanted to know if current cricket customers are happy with their service. Also if I buy a Samsung Galaxy s4 off the internet can I use it with the new cricket. what is your all experiences with Cricket Wireless considering switching from Verizon. Please help can I use any AT&T phone with cricket?

Sorry about the original post my voice dictation went crazy I guess. I am really wishing to switch to cricket at the end of our contract.

Re: questions

Coverage: Look at the coverage map provided on the Cricket website. It is the native AT&T coverage. No roaming off the AT&T native coverage area.
Mountains: Where? Coverage is pretty solid east of the Mississippi, not so solid to the west.
No hotspot. No microcell. Last on the list for software upgrades.
Price is great. Website is a lot easier to use than AT&T.
Do some math; sometimes it costs less to pay the Early Termination Fee than to stay in an overpriced contract to the bitter end. Sometimes not.

Re: questions

Unfortunately we do not have the money to pay almost $500 and early termination fees so for now I think we are stuck. I have also considered buying a cheap basic phone to put on my line as it would put the Verizon bill down 50 dollars because my mom could go down to the 500 megabytes plan. however I do not see the point in paying extra for nothing because I would have to keep the Verizon line active and paying 15 bucks a month plus I would have to buy a new phone to use with cricket. I have considered buying out all the early termination fees as in the end it would come out about the same which is crazy that switching to a new carrier could save us almost $500 within a year. I am testing it now so we will see about in the mountains and if it works and I have no problems then I cannot wait to switch. if I had not just bought a new phone on Verizon I would switch today probably or after I test the network in all the areas. I could swear that the calls are clear to but maybe that is just me. can I buy an AT&T phone and use it with cricket? we will be going to the Appalachian Mountains. we shall see about the coverage. Nice lower speeds are not really a problem as long as I can use the Android Central and howardforums and watch some youtube like I do on Verizon and it works for what I have tested so far and that is on an HSPA+ only phone not even LTE.

From Verizon to cricket

Hi all. I think I may have asked a couple of these questions before but do not remember the answer. We are seriously considering switching from Verizon to cricket at the end of our contract. I feel that Verizon has too many fees and is overpriced for what you get. I am trying to support someone who does not have an expensive outrageous prices. I know I will have to get a new phone as my galaxy s3 does not work with the AT&T network especially the data. However my mom has a iphone 5c that is unlocked through Verizon as a unlock all their phones now but I am wondering how well will it work with cricket. Will you be able to send and receive phone calls text messages picture messages and access the web. Can it get at least HSPA+ speeds and that is all I think she would need she uses a very little bit of data last month was 10 megabytes. thank you very much and please help me as I am trying to get away from these greedy people as soon as I possibly can if cricket works for me in all the areas which is why I am testing them this month.

Re: From Verizon to cricket

Also if anyone has any personal opinions with Cricket please feel free to share them but I am happy as of now and it would be worth sacrificing mobile hotspot and super fast internet to save almost 30 bucks a month and that is before I mean after we must you must discount before right now we are looking at a savings of almost $60 per month but unfortunately we cannot pay the almost $500 to get out of the contracts that we have with Verizon. If they don't do something soon might bring their prices way down I am gone whether my mom goes or not but I hope she can because if so my phone will only be $30 a month or 2.5 gigabytes of high speed data but it is still unlimited. Any input from you guys would be great as I hope I'm not making a bad decision here. I have even considered I'm buying a cheap basic phone and putting it on my verizon line and starting a new line was cricket for keeping my same number with cricket that I am testing with now and getting a better phone to use on that only thing is I would have to buy a new phone. Thanks I think I will wait until the agreements are up with Verizon and then move my line that is if the service works I've been the Appalachian Mountains are we travel to West Jefferson which is near Boone.

Not so happy customer

Verizon has great customer service and great phone reception but their prices are utterly ridiculous. If cricket works for me after my test run of their service I'm gone. Our bill is almost a hundred and twenty dollars per month for two lines with one gigabyte of data. that is a sari plan. they have been wonderful about giving me credits when problems come up but I still want to switch and I cannot wait until next August 23rd when my line is up for renewal. I will walk straight down to the cricket store and move both my lines over because we can get 2.5 gigs of data of Heath for 70 bucks. Is anyone else with me in this let's all leave Verizon and argue about their expensive data cost in their plans that actually just suck.
