Constantly jumps to Google page

Help, our Samsung 12.2 keeps jumping to the google page (leftmost home page).

I noticed that I can flex the chassis and it causes the tablet to jump between screens.

We already got through the screen flicker a few months ago by taking to a Samsung repair facility in Houston where they replaced the battery and it solved it ($100ish). Now they are saying this "may" need a motherboard or screen or ...? They basically don't have any clue what's going on.

Any insights before we throw this damn thing away?

Sounds like something internal is shorting. Maybe that battery fix/repair caused something to be moved or misplaced. Before throwing this great tablet out, why not try to open it and see if you can observe a loose connection or other anomaly. There are Youtube tutorials to show you how to open this tablet up.
