I just got this phone, and I'm really liking it (except for the camera and the lack of gorilla glass).

My problem is that I synched the info from my old phone via that awesome Google thing, and all of my contacts and info is here. But when I receive a phone call only the number is displayed, as an Unknown Contact.
The phone does not give 2 damns that my dad is on my favorites list, it will only display the number. I have 360+ contacts, all properly displayed, but the Calls won't work properly.

What am I to do?, I can't find a solution.

When you open the Contacts app and open a contact, does the contact's name appear in the correct field? IOW, not in Phonetic name, Nickname or somewhere else?

The Contacts App (People) works just fine.
Contacts appear normally and with their respective numbers and emails.

This is quite weird

I get that it works, but are names in the correct field, the proper place in the contact listing? Every time I've seen your problem, it was because names were in the wrong place.

Pardon me, I did not get what you meant.
I checked one contact, and I don't understand. There are this entries: Name Suffix, Given Name, Middle Name, Family Name. My contacts have Given and Family names, so I get that's correct, aye?
BUT, I created a random contact just to be sure, and tis not even showing.

Damnit what?

That sounds right, yes. I have different phones than yours so I can't see exactly what you do.

As for the test contact you did, are you sure you saved it to the same contact !list as the rest?

You're right, this is kinda weird...

Yeah, the contacts are in both my Phone and my Mails Contact List.
Maybe I should just go ahead and contact HTC

you know, I thought it had to do with the number.
It wasn't exactly as displayed in the call (because of country codes stored on my Contact List and such).
But nope, it didn't worked.
