Contact search results question

When searching for a contact to place a call, I've found that the first 5 or so results are completely irrelevant to my search. Many times the contact I want is at the bottom of the list of irrelevant results.
When I type in "Scott" I'd expect anyone with "Scott" in their name to show up first. Instead I see results where city name, street name, etc that contain "scott" show at the top of the list.

Is there a way to show relevant names first?

Search searches all fields, then lists the results alphabetically by first or last name, whichever way you have it set.

Try the widget app dialer if you search Contacts frequently.
