Contact sync issues with yahoo account

I IMAP'd my yahoo account to the gmail account on 5.1.1
Then I installed the yahoo mail app
Both are synced but I'm not seeing ANY contacts?!?
How do I remove the IMAP'd version of my yahoo account?

I have the same problem. I have a Sony xperia z3v with Android 4.4.4. After a Yahoo Mail App update, from the Account settings for Yahoo, the "Sync Contacts" option went away. To update contacts on my phone, I had to import them all to Gmail and sync them there. Now I am updating contacts on Gmail and Yahoo so that they will stay synced on my phone. Anyone have any suggestions? What happened?
