How can I control the Sound settings without having to unlock my phone and go into Settings/Sounds?
Just want to control the basic sound settings such as Mute, Vibrate, or Silent without unlocking the phone.
Is there a way to do this?

You should be able to do this from the lock screen by pressing the volume buttons, or swiping the notification bar down and using the quick tiles (if you have a volume control set there).

It works form the pull down menu, many thanks!

However, would this be a security concern that those menu items can be selected from the lock screen and not just the sound settings. I saw many items as well such as WiFi controls, NFC, Media, etc.

In my opinion, NOTHING should be accessed from the lock screen.

You can add a shortcut for do not disturb on your lockscreen. Just go to settings>lockscreen>shortcuts
