For me, one of the best things about iPhones (and all iOS devices) aren't so much the devices themselves, but the entire universe of third party peripherals that are available for them.
Think of a usage scenario--guitar pedal, heart rate monitor, baby cam monitor, music sheet reader, whatever---it's out there, not to mention that nearly every product in most home goods department stores comes with an iPhone/iPad/iPod dock. Just take a walk through any Bed Bath and Beyond to see what I mean.
Not that I'm knocking Android phones, I own a new SGS3, but just saying, it doesn't have nearly the amount of third party vendor support that any model iPhone or iPad does.
