Convince me on why to get gs3 over the iphone 5

For me, one of the best things about iPhones (and all iOS devices) aren't so much the devices themselves, but the entire universe of third party peripherals that are available for them.

Think of a usage scenario--guitar pedal, heart rate monitor, baby cam monitor, music sheet reader, whatever---it's out there, not to mention that nearly every product in most home goods department stores comes with an iPhone/iPad/iPod dock. Just take a walk through any Bed Bath and Beyond to see what I mean.

Not that I'm knocking Android phones, I own a new SGS3, but just saying, it doesn't have nearly the amount of third party vendor support that any model iPhone or iPad does.

I honestly can not believe this thread is still going.. Wow!! Do like everyone else and just buy one and it you don't like it, return it. Odds are you won't return it. I don't think the iphone will touch this thing.

Yeah, bro. Please close this thread! I love this GSIII; iPhone is boring to me. But, I used both iPhone and a Droid before I left BlackBerry years ago. This community is so much better and tech savvy.

Sent from my Galaxy S III while tappin' & takin' a $#!%!!!

I agree. This forum is very helpful and when you ask a REAL question, not an opinion type you get help from people. Good help. It's not that way on macrumors! You get attacked over there because everyone knows everything, that site has turned into a joke. This site is very useful and impressive and continues to grow.
