"Copy, Look Up, Share" but no "Maps" or "Add to Calendar"?

Hi,

I have a question that I hope you can help me with:

I'm using an HTC Desire running Android 2.2.

When I select something, from and email for example, I am then presented with a a pop-up menu of 3 options: "Copy, Look Up and Share" The problem is that I rarely ever want to look something up using Dictionary or Wikipedia or even Translate. While I don't mind these options being present, I would much prefer it if the context menu that popped up when I search was linked to Maps or something. 9 times out of 10 I want to search an Address, or add a date to a Calendar. Is there any way I can achieve this?

Further to my main question, it would also be massively useful if after I'd searched that address and found the map location, if I could then add it to a blank calendar entry and just fill in the date and title of the appointment.

Am I missing something here, or is this kind of functionality really not available yet?

Thanks for your time

Dave
