I am trying to figure out how to copy and paste. I have tried taping the screen as some people have suggested but nothing comes up. I have tried it in Gmail, Text messages, and my outlook email. None of them work when i tap or hold the screen down. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks so much.

highlight the text and HOLD your finger still for a few seconds, the dialog will pop up for copy.
Once you've copied text.. same thing to paste.. Select where and hold your finger still.

I wonder if I need to change a setting. It doesnt let me tap, drag, and highlight letters or a sentence. Thanks for your help.

The gmail app does not expose cut/copy/paste. If you press and hold while displaying a message/conversation, it does nothing. The same is true for text messages, though if you press and hold, choose "forward", you can copy all of the text in the message.

In the mail app, I am able to copy text by press and hold, and then selecting the option to select text to copy.

This feature is so bad. I'm trying to copy a signature and if you try to highlight multiple lines all it does it a couple of characters then the screen tries to scroll as you try to get to the next line.
