copying onto nexus 7

I have been previously copying films fro my pc to my nexus 7. But now i cannot do so anymore. I'm not a very technical person and i might have deleted something from its original files. Any answers please? And when i open my nexus 7 from my pc i see lots of files which i don't find when i open my tablet, like ebooks, books, movies etc. With lots of items in them that i don't recall of installing. Any help please

Did you try rebooting your PC and your tablet? That would be the first step. If you aren't a technical person, I assume you don't have the device rooted, so you didn't delete any core files that would cause this.

Also, you could try transferring them over a network instead of a USB cable. You can use an app like ES Explorer and connect to your computer through WiFi.
