Hi - I somehow managed on my old Droid 2G to set up my corporate email through the server.
I got my Droid 3 today, but have forgotten what I did during the setup previously. I'm getting an error message that the format is wrong.
I'm typing this:
server1.companyname.com:# (where # is the port number) . I do remember this was exactly how I typed it in my old Palm Centro, and how I RDP in from my laptop currently.
I'm leaving the "optional" Domain field blank, because I don't have any idea what to put in. I wonder if that could that be a deal breaker? What are examples of domain names?
Finally, I set up some security features on the Droid 3, I can't remember if I did them on the Droid 2 (I was able to get into my corporate email on the Droid 2). Tese enclude device data and stoarge encryption.
Thanks for any help!
