correct way of ejecting microsd card

greetings all, i was wondering if someone could instruct me in the correct way of ejecting a micro sd card. i keep getting the BE CAREFUL YOU MIGHT LOSE DATA warning. i have a samsung chromebook 2 any feedback welcome

Welcome back! Open the Files app, and click on the Eject button right next to the SD card in the left column. Once it's ejected, you can remove it safely.
