While I commend you, that is basically baiting the CSR. When they say "yes you can buy it tomorrow," you need to follow that up with "I thought the phone was being pushed back from that date" to see if they know something you don't, or if you know something they don't. This chat alone really says nothing.

well I've been told so many times "we have no idea" by Verizon employees, I was in complete shock, I'm still excited !

Edit: looks like almost all of the galaxy nexus banner ads are leading to an odd vzw shop link but there isn't an actual galaxy nexus page. it's just blank. maybe a placeholder for the actual product?

This is exactly why I don't come on forums no more. Everybody "knows" what's going on with "delays" but 99% of the time are completely wrong. There's no need to spread any more rumors about testing and things of that nature. You realize that this is a Nexus device and it will pretty much be in testing all the time since it's a developer phone right? Just because there's a new OTA pushed out to people (which I know there has been) does not mean it was the reason of the delay. Point blank period.

what's wrong with sharing info received? even if it is considered a "rumor". isn't that what we've been delving on for the past 2-3 months? If you see a rumor, then it's your choice to believe it or not. there's no need to whine about it. feel free to pout about it to your computer monitor and move on.

Personally, I make it a habit to pretend every post does actually start with "Take this with a grain of salt," since pretty much every forum post I've ever read has been misread by someone and upset them.

I think you're making a big assumption about a lot of the posters - noone here thinks anything anywhere on these forums is 100% indisputable fact. We all understand it's speculation, and we're just having some fun until Verizon tells us otherwise.
