Could The Biggest Secret Be A IGZO screen?!?

Ok, first put this down as pure speculation and not rumor. But it's based on some actual events and sound logic. Samsung has invested $110 million in Sharp, who recently has come up with a revolutionary advance in display technology called IGZO.

Do a search on IGZO and you will see that everyone is talking about this as the next big thing in display technology.

IGZO displays are:

1. Able to be built under thinner bezels
2. Consume significantly less power (an iPad Mini would be able to play video for 24hours using IGZO)
3. Have better touch definition.

Basically there is almost no down side and only upsides. Did I mention this technology can be in a flexible screen and works with AMLOED as well? There have already been some phones and devices that have come out with IGZO. Given there have been rumors about Samsung using LCD or another type of screen technology in the Galaxy S4 gives room to speculate if it might be IGZO. This would be a huge surprise if the S4 did come out with it and a nice one.

Not really knowing anything about displays, I say the first generation of flexible displays will be more in the arena of won't shatter when dropped. If your are talking about a resent purchase then it would probably effect the SV more likely. Opinion only.

Would be cool, but I doubt it. Chick in the video said end of this year, early next year. It's only March.
