Cover photos

How on Earth do I change my cover photo from the default within the app? It's driving me nuts that I can't seem to find a way to do it.

1. Open the Google+ app, then tap the G+ icon at the upper left (or swipe from the left edge to the right) to get your menu.
2. Tap on your profile picture.
3. Tap the menu button, then "Edit profile photo."
