Has anyone ever used Samsung promotion of 99 dollar cracked screen deal mail in repair?
They would fix my phone but just curious on how long it will take for me to get my phone back?

in Indonesia,Samsung Indonesia takes a maximum of 3 days to get the phones fixed.no matter the problem(cracked screen,broken bezel,missing camera and so on).

Ubreakifix charged 310 so I saw Samsung is doing a mail in holiday special on most phones up to the s8 so I'll save 200 just by mailing it in. I have a note 4 and galaxy s5. I went with the s5 for the next couple of days

Whoa I was just about to mention how tough the Note 20 Ultra screen is, what kind of force did it take to do that?
My 80+ lbs mastiff jumped on my phone the other day, stepped on it for a good 15 minutes before it fell face down on the ground and there isn't a scratch on it.
I'm really hoping that Samsung uses Gorilla Victus glass on all their phones in the future.

Oddly enough is less likely to break from an animal stepping on it. Most critters that walk this planet are going to have some amount of suspension-like behavior in their legs. Not having that would quickly destroy joints. Not to mention that the load will be spread out over their footprint. Since stress is a force over a smaller area (sharper) an 80 lb mastiff is likely not going to put as much stress on the screen as you think. When mine broke, it hit an edge between tile and some other hard flooring from about 2.5 feet up.

I misunderstood.....I thought you were using a damage warranty.

wow thank goodness Samsung is doing this $99 deal because it would have hurt to pay 300 to fix my cracked screen.

No concern about battery life? Depending on time in service and how used/charged another same model could have degraded battery compared to yours.

How would warranty work afterwards if you sent in a phone a few months into the warranty and got one back with warranty period expired or about to?

your absolutely right and I made sure to take pictures of my serial number and all the information on my device.

yesterday I got an update on my phone for this absurd charge when all it was supposed to be was the front screen replacement. They wanted me to pay 638.66 because they said the motherboard was affected. I called them and told them I won't pay any more because I wasn't notified about anything to do with my s20 Ultra that's not even a year old. I never really yell at people on the phone because I know they are doing a job. After being put on hold she quickly removed the chareg and they will expedite my phone back to me fully repaired. If they didn't waive the fee considering its Samsung's repair center I would have quit Samsung and got an IPhone. What voided my warranty if the phone is 9 months old. The same day my phones front screen broke I created the ticket with Samsung repair. Just doesn't make sense. Although the fee was waived I wonder how many people were taken advantage.
