Checked my bank account, and I haven't yet been refunded for the original Nexus, but I noticed that FedEx did remove the second charge I had on there... So, not really sure what's going on. Wondering if I should call Verizon about it, or give them some more time yet (since they received it Friday and then went on a three day weekend), and if I call Verizon, I don't know which number to call, or what to even say. @_@
What's an RMA#? Anyway, I didn't think any of that mattered; I figured that once the girl I talked to told me to said in my old one, they'd be expecting my old one to come back within the next five days.

What kind of documentation did you include in the box with your phone when you sent it back?
So, I think I'll give Verizon a call tomorrow, but... what should I say? I'm not good with this kind of thing... If they seem like they don't want to give me a refund, what exactly can I say to "plead my case"?
Well, yeah, but I mean, what if they say something like "We looked at the phone, we think you cracked it, so you don't get a refund"?
Was just getting ready to call up Verizon, and I happened to check my e-mail, and saw that I got one a couple hours ago from them saying that they're processing my refund. Whew! I'm so happy I can finally put this giant mess behind me now.
