Cracking noise on all voice calls when using skype,messenger and whats app on samsung s9

[Android Central Question]

Hi guys,any idea why I would be getting severe interference when using skype or whatsapp when making a phone call.Best way to describe it is like someone is rubbing a crisp packet through the microphone.Thix is happening on a samsung s9 and even happens when I have wifi at home.It literally is coming and going doing whole duration of call.
Any idea what might be causing all this ?
