I believe you have to say "OK Google create reminder"

Well that part I'm used to saying Okay Google and then saying that you may not want but whenever I try to create an event from my watch, it just wants me to open it up and calendar on the phone.

Could be a limitation to Android Wear.

Yes, that's what I was thinking myself. I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced the same thing.

I can create a reminder via voice, but trying to create an event sends me to the phone.

Actually, I just realized if you download and pay for the phone premium version of calendar for wear then it gives you full capabilities.
