Critiques for Pixel 3 and Android P

Well all manufacturers use a skin or launcher even the pixel is a skin over andriod. They just saying its skin (pixel) is very limited in performing task or customization. That's what nexus use to be about and looks like one plus has taken that direction which I personally think it's the best skin on android.

I don't think it's boring , just a little limited but you can put Nova on the pixel and match it pretty much against one plus for customization. But I see Google slowly putting little more customization in it's skin as example dark theme soon be throughout it's UI.

I understand a preference and have zero problem with that. BUT when (in the xda video) you make a point to voice inaccurate (because no you don't have to go home to access the app drawer in 9.0) frustration about the app drawer being a "nightmare", then turn around literally one minute later and say that you love the app drawer search function (in Oxygen) because "..scrolling through the app drawer feels so old when can swipe up and tap a few letters and it's right there", that's conflicting. If being able to search for an app is a strength, the Pixel is king above all as you can literally do that from anywhere and not just from home.

Yeah I dont agree with everything they saying , especially swipe left on one plus you get acces to toolbox or widgets like its something to write home about , I rather swipe left and have my Google feed if I need widget or tools I can put on my home screen. But they are right about the fluidity of its gestures and taking 2 steps go app drawer it's just not fluid at all it's like you stop for minute to think where you going .

And that's fine to have that as an opinion, just don't turn right around and contradict that same thought. Either have an issue with the drawer because it's a function that's important to you or don't. I agree there.
Don't forget just like the pixel it's running it skin on Android both are very lean skins it's a toss up to what you like more can't go wrong either way .

Nova defeats the purpose for me.

I don't use Nova anymore for awhile on any my phone's I try to stick with the stock setup but do have it available if needed.

Tell the truth Mike I didn't like it when they first implement this gesture but I got so use to it and it doesn't bother me anymore I gave up lol

Yes...5X and 6P. I had the 6P for 2 weeks after I returned a phone, then I decided to get the phone I had previously at a better price. At the time the 6P feel too big. I bought the 5X used for two while waiting for LG to fix my phone. The 5X was a solid performing device even with 2GB and an older processor. When I had was right around the time an update was bootlooping some 5Xs and 6Ps. My 5X didn't encounter that problem but I sold it once I got my device back. Loved the white plastic back.
