Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.0.1 OTA?

Re: Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.01 OTA?

I've yet to notice anything different, not sure if I'm meant to be noticing anything new?

These are incremental updates. It's been said in this thread already and you can also Google it but I'll tell you here. New updates are new emoji's, a new security patch and you can now start the camera by double tapping the power button.

Got it on my 5x on Sunday, and on my Nexus 9 yesterday.

I got mine yesterday on Verizon. Everything seems to be running smoothly.

Re: Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.01 OTA?

I got mine on my 6P last week sometime. I am thinking the 8th or the 9th. I haven't turned on my nexus player in a while so I'm not sure on that one...

Funny how the old nexus 5 getting loving and nexus x isn't oh well enjoy it since marshmallow is the last my phone is going to see.

Got it on my Nexus 6 today. New emojis! 🤓

Re: Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.01 OTA?

I got 6.0.1 on my N6/N6P on T-Mobile but I'm still waiting for 6.0 on my N7 LTE with T-Mobile.

Re: Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.01 OTA?

I got the update last night but with it came to installing it I ran into problems. The install would start and the phone would report that it has the latest version of 6.0, but then when it checked the RSA keys it would find them as being from an earlier version of 6.0 and quit. So I wound up downloading the factory image from the Android developers website and flashing that using Nexus Root Toolkit.

So far everything is working just fine! Just hope that there won't be anymore problems with future updates.

What do you mean? The nexus 5x?

I got it on my Nexus 7 on the 9th. My friend got it on her Nexus 5 on the 8th. Neither my Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 have received the update. Neither has my friend's Nexus 5x.

Saw 6.01 update this morning on my Nexus 6 when I woke up. Downloaded with no problem. Just noticed it on my Nexus 9 this evening (wasn't there this morning). Installing now.

Been rooted. Got a wild hair tonight, decided to unroot, lock and flash stock. As soon as I flashed stock (Verizon) I got a notification that 6.0.1 was available. finished installing apps and setting up and installed it with no problem. I had no idea that there was an update. The only update I've watched for a while is Chroma's.

Wife's got 6.01 OTA this morning.

PS-
Websites performance has degraded to the point of being unusable.
will give it a rest.

My Nexus 6 already received it few days ago.

Exactly the same thing happened to me on my SIM-less drydocked N6! I turned it on just to see if it would catch the OTA, and it sure enough did. Downloaded it 3 times, in fact, and the install failed just as many times. I tried sideloading the 29K OTA several times and got the same result. And I ended up flashing the factory image, too.

So whatinhell are RSA keys? And why did my N6, which I had flashed to 58X using the NRT, have an RSA key for the 58K build?? Just a bad flash? Something wrong with one of the files or "dependencies" the NRT downloaded?

Re: Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.01 OTA?

My Nexus 5 had it in a few days, but I ended up pushing the OTA to my Nexus 9. Strangely the 5 always gets updates way before the 9

Re: Curious: Is Anyone pushing the 6.01 OTA?

Just got it pushed to me on Verizon, finishing up install now, about 187mb.
