Recently I flashed HydroRom. While it has greatly improved my internal data storage capacity, I'd still like to have an app killer, e.g. AutoKiller to monitor my phone's system, or at least check it every once in a while. Among other things, I'd like to see how much different the figures look now that I'm running HydroRom, before flashing which I was running rooted stock.
But somewhere in the back of my brain I seem to remember having read that, for GB and higher versions, app killers and memory managers don't do any good and serve no useful purpose, since the OS itself now does a much better job of managing its resources.
Would it do any harm to install the app killer anyway? Even if it doesn't actually improve the performance I'd still be interested in seeing the numbers.
