Have you received your Galaxy Note 8 phone? Please share your reviews for those of us waiting to receive the phone. I have been a Note user since the Note 2 and now have a Note 4. I am anxious to hear from the users.

you can tell easily that no one has received it yet because no one is posting their reviews here. check back over the next week. you won't need to start a thread to see them.

I think the op does know that. Reviews will come.

I am new to Android Central and did not post to see my name as a thread starter. Maybe I don't know the rules and apologize for that. I won't post again.

No worries, posts and unique threads are always encouraged! And Welcome to Android Central :)

My daughter played with one for about 1 hour at Best Buy on Sat... she pre-ordered hers then. I did mine on launch day. She LOVED doing a coloring page in PenUp. We both love the camera features - live photo. I can't wait to use the sPen again! I love being able to write the note on the screen without having to open an app... it works great! :)

Re: Note 8 reviews

From Verge...

Good Stuff

Lovely display
Fast performance
Reliable battery life
Excellent standard camera

Bad Stuff

It’s enormous
It’s expensive
Secondary camera is far inferior to main camera
Terrible fingerprint scanner placement

verge is like "if the pen isn't your thing"

Re: Note 8 reviews

A lof of the negativity is just the price, but most reviews are pretty good!

Re: Note 8 reviews

Price, size, and the thought of it being a hardly superior version of an S8+ seem to be the downfalls most reviews have. Upon first seeing the device it definitely looked massive. But after looking at it side by side to my iPhone 7+, it's marginally larger by maybe a few mm at most. Once mine shows up I'll get used to it.

I like the AC editor's review. I feel like he hit the target audience as far as who the device is marketed towards and what makes it a stellar device. Exactly my thoughts that it's not the premium device for a total Android purist, but still a great device.

Sounds like no one is that excited on the secondary camera and no one really liking the live focus quality. I think the LG may get the win in the camera department category this year with its wide angle lens if V30 camera performs.
