Are you trying to have a different clock on your Gear or a different clock widget on your Note 3?

There is a thread on here that showcases home screens, some of them are absolutely awesome. I never thought about getting a launcher but I am now!!! Take a look at that thread, many of them have been asked about where they got the graphics, icons, etc. I'm certainly going to play with it this weekend.

I'm trying to get a nicer widget for the clock on my phone. Yeah I have seen the nice home screens but there are no directions how to get them on the phone....

This is not easy to describe in text necessarily Check out YouTube for some launcher options. The bad part about changing launchers on here is losing certain features for the built in S pen

Go to the app store and search clock widgets,, there are some nice ones

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

S pen still works come with most launchers you lose hover swipe commands of touchwiz is all. But that is besides the point most the clock widget do not need a different launcher anyhow I use HD widgets from the playstore for mine.

I highly recommend Nova Launcher. It is a very powerful tool that has a lot of options for changing the layout on your phone.

For clock widgets do a search in the store. There are so many choices, you'll find one that is to your liking.

I downloaded Nova and then Nova Prime last night onto my Note 10.1. I thought it would be easier to learn on the tablet before putting it on my N3. I'm a bit befuddled, everything looks different and I don't know where to start. I went to the developer's site and there's no "how to". Was going to look for some YouTube help after leaving the forum this morning. Any advice in getting started would be appreciated!!! I thought wallpapers and such would be part of the launcher but from what I saw on another thread, I need to go elsewhere for those?

First to learn is you can have your default launcher boot whenever returning to desktop. Second you get an icon on default launcher and app drawer for booting to Nova. These are your friends till you get used to the options.

There are a ton of things you can do with it so just play with the settings to find what you want. For me it was unlocking wallpaper scroll because for some ridiculous reason TouchWiz blocks that function.

You can assign your own wallpapers from images you have (and factory ones) but this is glitchy on my Note 3 so I usually return to TouchWiz for that. I allow more icons per page than TouchWiz so I could rebuild the same layout I use on my N7. You can get started by importing from the base launcher to get a basic layout and update settings from there.
