customizing mail alerts

Hello, I'm coming from an old BB Storm and on there I had the option to give mail accounts and people unique mail alerts. The level of customization went from sounds all the way to different vibrate patterns.
Im sure there a way to do this on the Tbolt, right? Is this just a weakness of the HTC mail?

From what I can tell the standard HTC mail app won't allow this level of customization. You may need to check out apps like Mail Alert.
