i am fairly new to rooting as i just rooted my Samsung Fascinate (Verizon) the other day. Im attempting to set up the most basic cwm using Odin. Everything went fine until i tried to download " cwm-recovery-ALL.tar". The file downloads fine, however even after extracting, it appears as a .BIN file type!! Furthermore my computer has associated it with VLC media player giving it the orange cone logo. I have tried numerous times to redownload and fix the problem so now im stuck. If i try to exit Odin or unplug my phone i have a feeling im going to mess something up. Can someone please help me out here as im at a total loss? did i do something wrong?
